We run a full suite of electrical safety tests on all mains powered parts inc. power leads
Our tester is designed to meets the needs of OEM’s who require a range of fundamental safety tests to be carried out on a variety of electrical and electronic products.
It has the correct flash test to meet the CE & intl. requirements for product testing.
Our Flash/hipot test delivers up to 10mA of leakage current unlike typical in-service PAT testers which have their test output limited making them unable to meet this legislatory requirement.
Tests run:
Flash / Hipot Test (Class I) - Test Voltage Class I, 1.5 kV AC
Earth Bond Test/ Ground Bond Test - Test Currents 25A, 10A, 4A, 100mA AC into short circuit
DC Insulation Test - Test Voltages 250V, 500V DC
Earth Leakage - Voltage Mains Supply
Substitute Leakage (Short to case test) - Voltage 40V AC nominal at 230V/110V supply
Power / Run / Load Test - Measured Load 0 – 4.2kVA
Polarity - Test performed Live & Neutral continuity & polarity.
